Project 5 Anti-Surveillance Tool
Description
I don't know whether this phenomenon is a unique product of Chinese social background or common in different cultural backgrounds. On festivals, when relatives and friends get together for a party, some over enthusiastic relatives will ask us a lot of questions. These problems are not neutral by themselves, and they are often mixed with these relatives’ personal ideas. For example, I am a very thin person. But I don't think it's a problem, because I am healthy and it’s kind hard for me to flesh up due to my personal body situation. While they often say "Why are you so thin?" it sounds like I have some serious illness, and that causes me to be very thin. Then they will ask me all sorts of questions about my body and what to eat, which I feel offending my privacy and I don’t agree with these questions at all. So in this project, I show the questions raised by these people in conspicuous colors, and then I hide my thoughts behind the scenes. I would like to appeal to you not to judge others casually, especially on the basis of their own opinions.
Process
Targeted recepient: People who like judging others.
Hiden message: Don’t use your standards as rules to judge other people, it’s improper and offending.
Visual strategy: I show the questions raised by these people in conspicuous colors, and then I hide my thoughts behind the scenes. The reason why I use these background lines is that I want to create a sort of 3d effect and make the whole compositon look like a poster or advertising page.
Reflection
1.I think the loop() is a great function that can create unexpected visual effect while I still need to figure out the logstic order of loop() and noloop().
